Safety on a Scooter

Riding a scooter is as safe as riding a bike, you just have to be careful. Always wear a helmet and other safety gear to minimize the risk of injury.

While riding your scooter, you need to follow some key safety tips.

  • Your stance should be straight and never too forward. If your stance is too forward, the weight distribution is not like it should be and therefore you will lose steering control.
  • Always follow local traffic guidelines!
  • Most scooters are designed for one rider, so do not attempt to ride with someone else on your scooter. It is forbidden and also very dangerous for you and the other rider.
  • Ride only on smooth, flat surface because most scooters are not made for off-road conditions.
